If you often receive files but can't get at them because you don't have the correct viewer, let Drag & File solve your problems. Drag & View views files created by word processors, databases, spreadsheets, plus bitmapped or vector graphic programs in native format. You can also view any file in plain ASCII or hexadecimal.
Drag & View has a built-in editor, which allows you to open multiple windows, and lets you search for text in any file. You can also go to any cell in a spreadsheet or any record in a database. You can select all or any part of a viewed file and copy it to the Windows clipboard or print it. You can also zoom a file up to five times the original size.

If you've got a mass of stuff cluttering up your computer, SmartCat will organise it for you. It also handles data stored on CD-ROMs and floppies.
The program has three main functions: Archive, Cataloguing and SmartCat Explorer. With the Archive function, you can select files and directories and move them to a central archive (which may be on floppies, Zip drives etc). If you wish, you can remove the original files. Once they've been archived, they can be quickly restored. The Cataloguing function allows any CD-ROM, Zip or floppy disk to be catalogued. Once they're part of a catalogue, any file on these volumes can be quickly found. The SmartCat Explorer works the same way as Windows Explorer, but working with archived files and catalogued disks.

Fix-It is a comprehensive troubleshooting utility for Windows 95. It does most of its job automatically. All you need to do is click on an icon, and it will solve application conflicts and hardware configuration errors. As well as saving you downtime, you save money because you don't require technical support. The handiest feature of the program is its ability to prevent data loss, by intercepting fatal program errors before they cause a crash.
The program consists of several modules, including Problem Preventer (alerts you to Windows system elements which could lead to problems); Problem Agent (continually monitors your system); Crash Defender (if an application causes a fatal error, Defender intercepts the problem so that you have time to save your data); and Performance Optimizer.

Turbo Browser gives you complete control over your files, whether on your computer, your network, or on the Internet. A super-easy file browser, copier and launcher, if you're tired of wading through endless Explorer sub-menus, try this program. It takes just one click to access or copy any file. The program consists of a tiny dockable menu button with cascading folders. You can organise the preferences to suit yourself, adding most-used programs and files, and showing/ hiding disks. You can drop files on Cruiser to move, copy or link them.
