News NetRexx 1.113 is the NetRexx reference implementation for Java 1.1. This release will only run correctly on a Java 1.1.x platform. [3 Aug 1997] NetRexx 1.113 supports compressed class libraries ('jar files'), serialization of Rexx objects, internationalization, adapter classes (see the new Scribble sample), binary methods, hexadecimal and binary number notation, and many other improvements. For details, please see the changes list, and the NetRexx Supplement. The supplement is also available in PDF (Acrobat) format for viewing or printing; a PostScript version is also available, in the NetRexxD package. Other news Windows Magazine reviews NetRexx [July 1997] Pierantonio Marchesini's NetRexx tutorial [11 Jun 1997] Max Marsiglietti's MaxBase database for NetRexx is now available [5 May 1997], along with a article in Java Universe.
