CLOSE                    Close File or Device

 CLOSE [[#] filenum [,[#] filenum]...]

    Closes one or more files or devices and terminates the association
    between a file or device and its number.

     filenum    The number under which a file was OPENed.

      Notes:    If no filenum is supplied, all open files and devices are
                CLOSEd.

                RESET, END, STOP, and RUN automatically close all open
                files and devices.
