Golden Blonde

In the 1940's, long before Marilyn became a movie star, she earned her living as a model. Some of her assignments involved posing for print advertisements - usually for cosmetics companies, but also for clothing, food and other items. Marilyn's likeness continued to be used in ads well into the 1950's, and today Marilyn's image can be seen hawking everything from tourism in Alaska to Chanel No. 5.
