The interview appears in text below to enhance clarity. Jim Hyde: Tell us what you most looked for in the girls who were here tonight in terms of becoming a model. John Casablancas: You know, I look for the natural qualities that we can develop into style. Some of them already have some. Others need to be developed. But, right now, I think the number one emphasis is on personal style.
JC: It's difficult to say because it's not like it used to be. You know, you'd see a Rosemary (pictured at right) and you'd know you had a superstar. Now, it's, like, much more complicated. And so, if you can find a beauty like her, it's a winner. But sometimes you find girls who don't, like, have that much appearance and they develop, little by little, style, and they can also do very well.
