The genesis of her enviable career can be traced to the streets of Prague, Czechoslovakia, a muted yet romantic city. Daniela wasn't thinking about stardom on the night her life changed. She was 19 and on her way to a theatre when she crossed paths with D ominique Caffin. Caffin, a scout with Madison Models of Paris, prevailed upon her to enter a modeling contest. Daniela did, won and shortly afterwards was flown to Paris where she signed with Madison Models.

Her booker in those early days was Nicolas Shoenlaub, SUPERMODEL.COM's own Vice President of Aspiring Markets. Nicolas remembers that she had star quality from the start. "She and Claudia Schiffer have the most classical beauty of all the models I've see n," he says. "She was very down to earth, very likeable."
