Ford's First 50 YearsThe Staley-Wise Gallery in New York was the place and the occasion was a party celebrating the 50th anniversary of Ford Models. Displayed on the walls were photos of famous Ford models. Many of those who were the subjects of those photos, and some of the photographers who shot them, appeared to reminisce.Models in attendance were: Basia, Carmen (who was active from the 40's through the 80's), Fabienne, Irina Pantaeva, Tamiko and Patricia Velasquez, among others. Collectively, they, and the many others represented by the agency, helped make Ford Models one of the biggest and best-known agency names in the world.
