The Fashion Cafe was the perfect setting. SUPERMODEL.COM's coverage team arrived an hour early. It was a brisk, spring day, and the line of aspiring models was already lengthy. Fashion Cafe is in among the other buildings that comprise Rockefeller Center in midtown Manhattan. It's facade (pictured) features an art deco look. Inside is an eclectic mix of contemporary restaurant and bar. Tables are set up on a balcony overlooking an area where various events are held. Other tables are available in a room behind the bar and a room to the right of the entrance. The bar is in an open room to itself. All of this is surrounded by musem-like exhibits containing various dresses, shoes and jewelry that have been worn by fashion celebrities in famous ads or at special events. Just off the bar is a show room in which the catwalk was set up.
