This page is designed to help you move around or "navigate" through this site. If you are wondering what Net Lingo is or why you should use it, then check out the Net Lingo FAQ. If you are using AOL see our important message for AOL users.

There are three ways in which you can find words: by clicking on Look Up A Word, by clicking on Browse, or by clicking on The Net Lingo Pocket Dictionary. Below you will find a more detailed description of how to do this. The Net Lingo Pocket Dictionary comes with instructions included.

If after reading this page and reviewing the FAQ you still have a question, try the Q&A Message Board where you can post questions or make comments. We will do our best to help you out. Thanks for visiting and be sure to tell a friend!

LOOK UP A WORD

If you know the word you want to look up, go to the Look Up A Word menu and click on the first letter of that word on the A-Z bar. A list of words beginning with that letter will appear. Choose the word you want to learn about, and that word's definition along with any additional information on that topic, will appear.

BROWSE

If you would like to see all the words in the dictionary, go to the Browse Net Lingo menu. An alphabetical listing of all the words in the dictionary will appear.

GOING BACK A PAGE VS. USING THE DONE BUTTON

The "Back" button on your browser will take you to the previous page you were on. The "done" button does this also except when you are in the dictionary in which case it will first bring you to the Look Up A Word menu.
