EXCURSIONS

18 April - Palma City and Valldemossa (half day-morning)

This excursion combines a tour of the City of Palma and a visit to the picturesque village of Valldemossa. In the morning you will visit the imposing Gothic Cathedral and Bellver Castle one of the few remaining circular castles and from where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city and bay. In Valldemossa you will visit the Monastery , now a museum and which contains many mementos of the composer Chopin following his stay in the monastery. Returning to Palma prior to lunch.

19 April - Puerto Pollensa and Formentor (full day)

This excusion starts with a drive through the center of the island passing through typical Mallorcan villages and countryside. On arrival in the village of Puerto Pollensa, once a thriving fishing village you take a short boat ride to Formentor (weather permitting).and there will be time to enjoy the area which is like a paradise. The return journey to Puerto Pollensa is by coach along the mountainous road which offers spectacular views. Lunch will be served in a restaurant overlooking the bay.

20 April - Caves of Drach (full day)

The world famous caves are located on the east coast of the island and contain one of the largest underground lakes. During the visit you will enjoy a short concert performed by musicians while crossing the lake by boat. Lunch will be served in Porto Cristo returning to Palma in the afternoon.
