Remote Desktop for Mobiles Client - Remote desktop


In a desktop control mode, you can see a full view of current desktop or a part of a desktop on the remote computer. For more convenient work you can set various parameters for a desktop mode. See section: Setup.



Remote desktop menu:

The menu are available in a desktop control mode at using right screen device key. Through this menu you can to switch the control mode of desktop.



In the desktop menu are available the next items:

Mouse - Control of mouse. Move mouse cursor to target point and select a mouse control command. The mouse control will be transferred directly to the Server.

Magnifier - Turning on magnifier mode. In this mode, on desktop the magnifier box will appear. Move this box to interested region and then select a menu item "Zoom In" to enlarge a fragment. In magnifier mode will be available the "Full desktop" menu item which turning off the magnifier.

After applicable a magnifier on selected fragment of desktop, it is possible to use a mouse control or keyboard input. In addition, scrolling of enlarged fragment are available by "Scroll" menu item. In the scrolling mode, use a movement cursor keys to scroll a fragment. For a control of mouse or keyboard input is necessary to exit from scrolling mode.

Keyboard - Keyboard input. Entered keystroke will be transfered directly to the Server.

Send key - Sending a single control key or sequence of control keys to the Server.

Direct input - For the Blackberry Client. Switching on "Direct input" mode. See below for details.

Refresh - At using this item you can refresh the desktop screenshot manually.

Help - List of hotkeys available in desktop mode.

Back - Exiting from desktop control mode into the general list of messages.

Desktop mode hotkeys:

1, 2, 3 - Left mouse click, Double mouse click, Right mouse click (if not a cursor mode, first key pressed enter to the cursor mode).
4, 5, 6 - Turning on and switching magnifier mode. Magnifier mode: x1, x2, x3.
7 - Refreshing a desktop or fragment selected by magnifier.
8 - Zoom In (applying magnifier mode).
9 - Full desktop mode.
* - Turning on scroll mode.
0 - Selecting and sending single key from list (if not a cursor mode, first key pressed enter to the cursor mode).

In a desktop mode you can quickly send a press to a single control key. For this, use an item "Send key" from desktop mode menu.



For sending a text or control keys sequence use an item "Keyboard" from desktop mode menu. In the "Keyboard" dialog you can enter the text and insert a control key or control keys sequence. Use an item "Insert key" from "Keyboard" dialog menu for this.



Note: All control keys in a text are beginning from "#" symbol. If you want to use a symbol "#" in text, enter this symbol twice.

Also, you can set repeating a single symbol or control key. For this purpose use a symbol "#" and number from 1 to 99 which specify quantity of repeating. This instruction should be specified after a symbol or control key name without blanks. Examples:

#Up#5 - Five times pressing of key "Arrow Up".

=#60 - Entering 60 symbols "=".

Direct input mode for Blackberry:

Direct input mode in the Blackberry Client allow to use the keyboard for input a text into active window on desktop. Also, you can use "Direct input" mode menu for fast access to control keys.

For switching on the "Direct input" mode press a key "SYM" on Blackberry keyboard. Repeated pressing of a key "SYM" open a "Control keys" menu. You can select a control key for operating or switch off the "Direct input" mode.



Direct input mode for Nokia 9300, 9500 communicators:

Direct input mode in the Client on Nokia 9300, 9500 allow to use the keyboard for input a text into active window on desktop. Also, you can use "Direct input" mode menu for fast access to control keys.

For switching on the "Direct input" mode press a key "TAB" on keyboard. Repeated pressing of a key "TAB" open a "Control keys" menu. You can select a control key for operating or switch off the "Direct input" mode.
