How Does It Work?
The three different versions of Hue Rotate vary in their functionality.
The color version of Hue Rotate increases (positive rotation) or decreases (negative rotation) the hue (HSV) of the Background texture based on the Amount parameter. Because hue exists on a circular axis,
an Amount value of 0% (-180 degrees) and 100% (180 degrees) have the same effect. However negative hue rotations travel through different colors than positive rotations. An amount value of 50% (0
degrees) will have no effect.
The percent Hue Rotate lightens the Background for Amounts greater than 50% and darkens the Background for Amounts less than 50%.
The percent Hue Rotate increases the Background bump for Amounts greater than 50% and decreases the Background bump for Amounts less than 50%.
