HSV_Attractor

Reference
Index

Scales the values of one component towards another.

How Does It Work?

HSV Attractor attracts the values of the Background texture towards the values of the Target texture.  The color version allows you to attract the Hue, Saturation, and Value attributes of the background independently.  An Amount value of 0% will have no effect while an Amount of 100% will attract Background all the way to Target.  The percent and bump versions of HSV Attractor is functionally the same as Composite.

Note:  Since hue is a circular gradient, it will be attracted across the shortest distance (rotation) between the Background's hue and the Target's hue.

Hints!

Try linking the HSV Amounts to different noise textures for an interesting new color texture.
