OfficeTalk lets you auto dial companies and contacts using a modem connected to your telephone. To set up a modem ready to auto-dial, bring up the Modem Settings dialog box by selecting the Modem page from the Preferences dialog box.

If you have a Hayes compatible modem, the settings in the Initialisation, Dial Prefix, Escape and Hang Up fields will already be set up for you. Ensure that the Port field selection corresponds to the COM port that you attached the modem to.
When you press OK on the Preferences dialog box, OfficeTalk will remember your modem settings and you will be ready to use your modem for auto-dialling.
