IMPORT Command

Imports various file formats into AutoCAD LT

	Insert toolbar:
	Insert menu: File
	Command line: import

The Import File dialog box is displayed.

Select the format type you want to import and the name of the file. AutoCAD LT imports the file into the AutoCAD LT drawing.

Look in

Select the drive and directory that contain the file you want to import.

File Name

Select or enter the name of the file you want to import.

Files of Type

Select the type of file you want to import.

Preview

Preview the selected drawing.

Find File...

To use search criteria to find the files you want to import on multiple drives and directories, choose Find File. The Browse/Search dialog box is displayed.
