The Export Data dialog box is displayed.
AutoCAD LT exports the objects to the specified file format using the specified file name.
Note: The DXX file format available from this command creates an abbreviated DXF file format identical to that generated by DDATTEXT.
Select or enter the name you want to assign to the exported file.
Select the type of file to which you want to export the objects. The following options are available.
Select the drive and directory where you want to place the exported file.
The Options button displays a dialog box you can use to set export options. Options is available when you select a file type of DWF, DXF, or EPS.
Controls Save As options, export options for DXF and PostScript files, and import options for Windows Metafiles. The title and contents of this dialog box vary depending on whether you access it from SAVEAS, DXFOUT, PSOUT, or WMFIN. The following options are available.
Sets Drawing Interchange File output options.
Specifies whether an ASCII or binary DXF file is created.
Controls whether the DXF file consists of selected objects or the entire drawing. When this option is selected, the output file includes only selected objects and the block reference portions of any included blocks. The block symbol tables are not included.
Saves the file using the specified number of bits of precision. Entering a value from 0 to 16 creates the file at the specified level of precision.
Note: By default, DXFOUT uses a precision of 6. Though this is adequate in most cases, it might need to be increased for certain drawings and for certain applications. If you encounter problems loading a .dxf file you've created, try increasing the precision. The only disadvantage of higher precision is increased file size. Lower precision is useful for specialized purposes, but is not recommended in general.
Assigns a name for a prolog section to be read from the aclt.psf file when using the PSOUT command. The prolog name is optional and is used to customize PostScript output in a number of ways.

Sets the paper size units to inches or millimeters. The list of available paper sizes changes to match the option that you select.
Creates an explicit scale by specifying how many drawing units are to be output per unit (millimeters or inches). For example, to produce output at a scale of 1 drawing unit per millimeter, enter 1 for both Output Units and Drawing Units.
If you use Fit to Paper, AutoCAD scales the output so that the portion of the drawing output is made as large as possible for the specified paper size.
Specifies a paper size for the exported PostScript image. Select a size from the list, or enter an explicit width and height value. Use the Size Units option to specify whether the paper sizes display in inches or millimeters.
If you enter a unique size by specifying the width and height of the paper, it appears with the name USER in the list of paper sizes the next time you create an EPS file.
Sets Windows Metafile input options (see WMFIN).
WMFIN imports objects as wireframes. If you clear this option, objects are imported as filled objects.
WMFIN maintains the relative line widths of lines and borders. If you clear this option, lines are imported with zero width.
