Set scanner and camera options |
Scanner and camera options define the performance mode used when downloading your pictures from a scanner or digital camera. Choose from the following performance modes:
- Enhanced mode uses your computer's memory to download pictures faster.
- Normal mode does not use your computer's memory and downloads pictures slower than the enhanced mode. If you experience problems downloading pictures using the enhanced mode, set the performance mode to normal and try again.
To set scanner options:

On the Tools menu, click Options.

Click Scanner/Camera options.

Under Scanner performance, click Normal or Enhanced.

Click OK, and then click OK again.
To set camera options:

Under Camera performance, click Normal or Enhanced.
