To resize an object manually:

Select the object you want to resize.

To resize an object to fit the canvas:

Select the object you want to resize.

On the Format menu, point to Resize Object to Fit Canvas, and then click how the object should fit on the canvas.

To fine tune the size of the object, drag the resize handle toward or away from the center of the object or picture.
To resize a picture:

Select the picture you want to resize.

On the Format menu, click Resize Image.

Select a page orientation.

To set the page height to adjust proportionately to the page width, or vice versa, select Maintain proportions.

Under Select a page size, select a predefined page size.

Type the height and width, and then select the units.
- Under Select a resolution, do one of the following:

If using metric measurements, type a number from 1 to 3779, and then click Pixels per cm.

If using non-metric measurements, type a number from 1 to 9600, and then click Pixels per in.

Note
Dragging a side resize handle does not maintain the proportions of the object.

- To select multiple objects, press CTRL, and then select the objects you want.
- Dragging the resize handle will lock the object on one side and allow you to resize the object from the other side. To lock the object in the center and resize opposite sides of the object at the same time, press CTRL, and then drag a resize handle.
