Move or delete an object

You can move an object in your picture by dragging it across the canvas or by centering it on the canvas.

In addition, you can move objects forward and backward through the layers of a composite. You can move objects backward or forward one layer at a time or move them directly to the front or back layer.

Move the objects you create or edit in one picture to other pictures.


Please click one:

Move an object forward or backward
Center an object on the canvas
Move an object between pictures
Delete an object

To move an object forward or backward:
  1. Select the object you want to move.
  2. On the Format menu, point to Move Forward or Backward, and then click a direction.
To center an object on the canvas:
  1. Select the object you want to move.
  2. On the Format menu, click Center Object on Canvas.
To move the object between pictures:
  1. Select the object you want to move.
  2. On the Edit menu, click Cut.
  3. Select the picture where you want to put the object.
  4. On the Edit menu, click Paste.
To delete an object:
  1. Select the object you want to delete.
  2. On the Edit menu, click Delete.
