You can replace a shape with a different shape.
To replace a shape:

On the canvasThe white area on the workspace that represents the printable portion of the picture. For Web pages, the canvas contains what is published to the Web., click the shape you want to replace.

On the Format menu, point to Shape or Line, point to Replace Shape, and then click a shape.
Note
You can only replace standard shapes. To replace another shape, such as clip art, you must delete it, and then add a new shape.
