Red eye is caused by the flash reflecting off the eye. You can remove the appearance of red eye in just a few steps.
To fix red eye:

On the Touchup menu, click Fix Red Eye.

Move the circular cursor to the first red eye, and then click the center of the red spot. Repeat this action for the second eye.

Click Red-eye auto fix.

Click Done.
