In a Flipbook animation, each picture in the TrayThe strip at the bottom of the product screen that shows thumbnails of open pictures. becomes one frame in an animated series. You can change the frame duration to create the type of Flipbook you want. Increase the frame duration to create an animation that quickly displays the series of pictures. Decrease the frame duration to create an automated slide show of the pictures.

To create a flipbook:

On the Tools menu, click Flipbook.

Before creating your animation, make all necessary changes to your pictures. Once you create your animation, you will no longer be able to edit the picture you are using. It is recommended that you use a copy of your original picture.

Verify that all of the pictures you want included in the Flipbook are open and displayed in the Tray.

To change the order of the pictures, in the Tray, drag them to the correct position.

Click Next.
 | Optional: Set the background.
- If your Web page background has a pattern to it, click Patterned.
- If your Web page has a solid color background, do the following:
- Click Solid color.

Select a background color.
Click a box in the color panel.

To choose a custom color, do the following:
- Click More color choices.
- To change the color hue, move the yellow circle around the outside of the color wheel.
- To change the color saturation, move the blue circle around the inside of the color wheel.
- To change the color brightness, move the blue circle toward or away from the center of the circle.
- Click Done.

Click Next.

Click the picture size you want, and then click Next.

To set the same display time for all of your frames, under How long do you want the animation to last, type or select the length of the animation.

Set the duration for each frame individually.
- Click Set display time for each frame.
- Under Display the current frame for, type or select the length of the animation for current frame.
- In the Tray, double-click the frame that you want to change next.
- Repeat steps b and c until you have set the frame timing for all of the frames.
- Click Done.

Set the number of times you want the animation to play.

Click Next.

Do one of the following:
- To save your Flipbook, click Save it.
- To make changes to your Flipbook, click the back arrow.

Click Done.
Tips
- For best results, make sure all of your pictures are the same size.
- Smaller pictures take up less disk space, download faster, and animate more smoothly than larger pictures.
- If your animation is too rough, increase the number of pictures you are using in your Flipbook or decrease the display time for each picture.
