You can copy or move text within a text box or from one text box to another. You can also copy or move the entire text box.
To copy a text box:

Select the text box you want to copy.

On the Edit menu, click Copy.

On the Edit menu, click Paste.

Drag the copied text box to the new location.
To copy text from one text box to another:

Select the text box containing the text you want to copy.

Select the text you want to copy.

On the Edit menu, click Copy.

Select the text box into which you want to copy the text.

Click the location in the text box where you want the text to appear.

On the Edit menu, click Paste.
To move a text box:

Select the text box you want to move.

Move the cursor to any edge of the text box.
The cursor becomes a move handle
.

Drag the move handle to a new location.
To move text from one text box to another:

Select the text box containing the text you want to move.

Select the text you want to move.

On the Edit menu, click Cut.

Select the text box in which you want to move the text.

Click the location in the text box where you want the text to appear.

On the Edit menu, click Paste.
To move text within a text box:

Select the text box containing the text you want to move.

Select the text you want to edit.
-
On the Edit menu, click Cut.

Click the location in the text box where you want the text to appear.

On the Edit menu, click Paste.

This procedure does not work for shaped textText that conforms to the outline of a selected shape..
