As the technology in Lasheron expanded, more and different types of
weapons were produced. Even to this day, there are more powerful weapons that are
being researched. Weapons fall under eight groups.
First, there are the
laser guns. Laser weapons right now range from 10kw to 300kw. As power off of
a laser bolt increases, the time the laser gun takes to recharge increases, also.
Laser guns can not target air creatures, but the bolt is an action at a distance weapon
and never misses the creature it is fired at. Laser weapons have a range of 30-40
meters. Laser cells are produced in a laser factory, and laser cells hold enough
power to fire 50 laser bolts.
Second, there
are bullets. Bullets are a short range, fast moving projectile that can be fired at
both air and ground units. They come in sizes from 10mm up to 100mm. They have
a range of only 20 meters, though. Bullets never miss and are produced in bundles of
500 rounds in a munitions.
The third
type of weapon is the fire type. A fire type weapon can range from the drakkan bat
fire ball, to the wizard and sorcerer fire ball, to the newly developed warhawg
flamer. Most fire weapons do great damage to targets with a very small amount of
armor. Drakkan bats can spit their fire at about 30 meters or so, while the flamer
only has a range of 10 meters. Since the drakkan bat fire comes naturally from a
drakkan bat, you always have that weapon. The same goes with most other types of
fire weapons.
Forth, there are the
plasma balls. Plasma balls vary with intensity and can range from a S-50 plasma ball
to the S-500 plasma ball. The S-50 has a range of 20 meters, while the S-500 has a
range of 40 meters. Plasma balls have the potential to do the most damage of any
other type of weapon, but sometimes a plasma ball loses too much of its energy before it
hits the target, causing them to do very minimal damage. Plasma weapons can only be
fired at ground creatures, and the plasma cells, which hold energy for 20 shots, are
manufactured in the laser factory.
The fifth type of weapon
are the rockets and missiles. Rockets have the widest range of properties. The
Stinger missile has no tracking capabilities, but they are easy to manufacture, and their
speed makes them damage heavily armored units and buildings. Other rockets like the
Cobra and Genesis rockets have an advanced tracking system on them. Then there is
the Hammer rocket which carries and then releases three Cobra rockets at its target once
the Hammer is close enough. The range of a rocket varies from rocket to rocket,
also. The Stinger has the shortest range at about 30 meters, while the Genesis
rocket can be fired from 80 meters away, and the RH-Razer missile can be launched from
over 100 meters away. All rockets and missiles are produced in a weapons
factory. The time to manufacture a rocket varies from rocket to rocket, and each
rocket is manufactured in various quantities.
Six, there is the
class of weapons that the rest get lumped into. Most of these weapons were not
designed by the jakkals and griborgs. The drakkan lizards created the fire rock and
fire rock launcher. The fire rock is not very accurate but inflicts much damage if
it hit its target. An adult horned lizard has a naturally hot sulfur gas it breaths
out of its nose. That gas is very accurate, very powerful, and very fast.
The seventh
type, lightning, uses majik and drains hitpoints. Wizards and Wizard towers can be
equipped with lightning ranging from small electrocutions to instant death charges.
Finally, when your projectile supply runs out or your unit is too close to
shoot their weapons at its target, most creatures will rely on their instinctive behavior
of biting and clawing. Zargon's mutants only know how to use their bone-like-knife
and gut tearing claw. In a short time a group of mutants will tear a creatures
apart. Other creatures are not as ferocious as mutants and might take longer to
kill at short range. On the other hand, a black mammoth will just turn around and
kick so hard that small creatures will die instantly.
