STRATEGY

Spells


Spells can be cast on units, buildings, the ground, or a combination of the three.  Spells can be cast from any of the six areas of majik:  Life, Light, Illusion, Fire, Death, and Darkness.  Below is a list of spells and the effects they have.

 

LIFE

Heal.BMP (2136 bytes)Heal -- Wizards can use small amounts of majik to restore some of a unit's hitpoints to them for an extended amount of time.  Heal also cures a poisoned unit.

Resurection.BMP (2136 bytes)Resurrection -- Wizards can resurrect a dead creature, provided it is still in one piece.

Invincibility.BMP (2136 bytes)Invincibility -- Using a large amount of majik, wizards can make a creature or building invulnerable to any physical attack.  Some spells can still have an effect on a invulnerable unit or building.

Transmute.BMP (2136 bytes)Transmute -- Wizards can turn a creature into a usable food resource, maybe even saving a life in the near future with that food.

LIGHT

Revelation.BMP (2136 bytes)Revelation -- Revelation is cast by wizards to reveal an area that other units can not see.

Protection.BMP (2136 bytes)Protection -- Wizard's protection spell adds a majikal barrier to a unit or building that can absorb some damage the unit or buildings is inflicted with.

ILLUSION

Invisibility.BMP (2136 bytes)Invisibility -- Wizards can make units or buildings invisible.

Teleport.BMP (2136 bytes)Teleport -- Both wizards and sorcerers can teleport themselves or another creature.  Cast the spell on a unit, and then select a spot on the ground to teleport the unit.

Freeze.BMP (2136 bytes)Freeze -- Wizards can cast freeze to stop units for a period of time.  If cast on buildings, the slaves will be frozen and production will be stopped for a period of time.

FIRE

Blaze.BMP (2136 bytes)Blaze -- Wizards can cast a powerful blast of fire that destroys most things in the path of the blaze.

Brimstone.BMP (2136 bytes)Brimstone -- Wizards can call down rock and fire from the sky that inflicts damage to an area of Lasheron.

DemonDog.BMP (2136 bytes)Demon Dog -- Sorcerers can summon a 'dog of fire' from the depths of Hell.

DEATH

DeathClaw.BMP (2136 bytes)Death Claw -- Sorcerer cast death claw on a unit to increase that unit's short range attack.  With death claw cast on them, a creature forces death into the wound.

LifeDrain.BMP (2136 bytes)Life Drain -- Sorcerers can use majik to drain a creature of some of their life.

DeathStorm.BMP (2136 bytes)Death Storm -- Sorcerers can use the force of death to produce an artificial lightning storm.

DeathStorm.BMP (2136 bytes)Illusions of Death -- Sorcerers can focus great quantities of majik together to spread destruction to an area of the map.

DARKNESS

Berserk.BMP (2136 bytes)Berserk -- Sorcerers can increase a units attack much like what death claw does.  Berserk is stronger but the unit it is cast on loses its armor.

Regenerate.BMP (2136 bytes)Regenerate -- Regenerate is used by sorcerers to fully heal a creature.

ChainLightning.BMP (2136 bytes)Chain Lightning -- Cast by sorcerers, chain lightning strikes one creature then branches out until the first creature is dead or the spell uses its majik.

Unpoison.BMP (2136 bytes)Poison -- Sorcerers poison spell can cause a creature to have a reduction in reaction time.  This will cause a creature to walk and attack very slow.
