Flatspace was developed by Cornutopia Software. Game design, graphics, sound and programming by Mark Sheeky. Game design ideas, playtesting, proofreading and moral support by Andrew Williams. Flatspace took nine months to develop. The German translation introduced in version 1.02 was completed by Tony Klüver. The install system used was NSIS by nullsoft. Audio compression by OGG Vorbis. All music and sound was created entirely using software called Noise Station 2.06, a sound generation system and sequencer developed by Mark Sheeky. Thanks to Russell Carroll of gametunnel.com for the interview and all of his encouragement, and thanks to Andrew Cashmore for the cruise control suggestion. The program was written in C++ using Microsoft Visual Studio version 6.0, professional edition. The total source code including uncompressed sound effects is 150,112,379 bytes. It takes approximately 6 minutes and 36 seconds to compile with optimisations with an Athlon 1800XP processor.
