Internet Explorer 5 Beta allows you to view XML files in the browser just as you would an HTML page. A default XSL stylesheet built into the browser enables you to view the XML as an expanding and collapsing tree. In addition, you can use a different XSL stylesheet or a CSS stylesheet to override the default stylesheet and display the XML in a custom manner.
Just as you would an HTML file. Enter the URL of an XML file in the Address box of the browser or navigate to an XML file through a hyperlink.
Sorry! The interactive exercises require Internet Explorer 5 Beta .
For more information on how to assign a stylesheet to an XML file, see the latest Extreme XML column or see the reference documentation on Direct Browsing of XML Files.
