Deletes a file stored on the FTP server.
Syntax
BOOL FtpDeleteFile%( IN HINTERNET hConnect, IN LPCTSTR% lpszFileName );The actual syntax of this function varies between its ANSI and Unicode implementations. See the Win32 Internet Functions Syntax document for details.
Parameters
- hConnect
- Valid HINTERNET handle returned by a previous call to InternetConnect using INTERNET_SERVICE_FTP.
- lpszFileName
- Address of a null-terminated string that contains the name of the file to delete on the remote system.
Return Value
Returns TRUE if successful, or FALSE otherwise. To get a specific error message, call GetLastError.
Remarks
The lpszFileName parameter can be either partially or fully qualified file names relative to the current directory. A backslash (\) or forward slash (/) can be used as the directory separator for either name. FtpDeleteFile translates the directory name separators to the appropriate character before they are used.
