IInternetProtocolInfo::QueryInfo Method

Retrieves information related to the specified URL.

Syntax

HRESULT QueryInfo(
    LPCWSTR pwzUrl,
    QUERYOPTION QueryOption,
    DWORD dwQueryFlags,
    LPVOID pBuffer,
    DWORD cbBuffer,
    DWORD *pcbBuf,
    DWORD dwReserved
); 

Parameters

pwzUrl

[in] String value containing the URL.

QueryOption

[in] QUERYOPTION value that indicates what option to query.

dwQueryFlags

[in] Reserved. Must be set to zero.

pBuffer

[in,out] Address of the buffer where the information will be stored.

cbBuffer

[in] Unsigned long integer value containing the size of the buffer.

pcbBuf

[in,out] Address of an unsigned long integer variable where the size of the requested information will be stored.

dwReserved

[in] Reserved. Must be set to zero.

Return Value

Returns one of the following values:

S_OK	The information requested was retrieved successfully.
S_FALSE	The buffer was too small to store the information.
INET_E_QUERYOPTION_UNKNOWN	The option requested is unknown.
