Retrieves the locale identifier value (LCID) corresponding to the given RFC1766-conforming name.
Syntax
HRESULT GetLcidFromRfc1766( LCID *pLocale, BSTR bstrRfc1766 );
Parameters
- pLocale
- [out] Address of the buffer to receive the LCID.
- bstrRfc1766
- [in] RFC1766-conforming name for which the caller wants information.
Return Value
Returns one of the following values:
S_OK Success. S_FALSE The returned LCID matches the primary language of the RFC1766-conforming name only. E_FAIL The method could not get the information from the database or the system. E_INVALIDARG One or more of the arguments are invalid.
Remarks
A client uses this method to translate a human-readable locale name to a Windows®-defined LCID.
