IMLangCodePages::CodePageToCodePages Method

Translates the given code page identifier value into the corresponding entry in a set of code pages.

Syntax

HRESULT CodePageToCodePages(
    UINT uCodePage, 
    DWORD *pdwCodePages
);

Parameters

uCodePage

[in] Source code page the client wants translated into a set of code pages.

pdwCodePages

[out] Address of a set of code pages that will be set to contain only uCodePage.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or E_FAIL if an unknown code page is given.

CodePageToCodePages creates a set of code pages that contains only uCodePage. It does this by setting all bits in pdwCodePages to zero except for the bit that corresponds to uCodePage. This method, along with IMLangCodePages::CodePagesToCodePage, provides the ability to translate between sets of code pages and individual code page identifier values that are used by many MLang methods and APIs.
