IActiveIMMIME::KeybdEvent Method


This document describes technologies available in the Internet Explorer 5 Beta. While we encourage you to evaluate these features and to send us your feedback, please note that these features are subject to change.

Synthesizes a keyboard event for the Active Input Method Manager service.

Syntax

HRESULT KeybdEvent(
    LANGID lgidIME,
    BYTE bVk,
    BYTE bScan,
    DWORD dwFlags,
    DWORD dwExtraInfo
);

Parameters

lgidIME
[in] LANGID associated with the Active IME.
bVk
[in] BYTE value that contains the virtual key code.
bScan
[in] BYTE value that contains the hardware scan code.
dwFlags
[in] Unsigned long integer value that specifies various function options.
dwExtraInfo
[in] Unsigned long integer value that contains additional data associated with the keystroke.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error code otherwise.
