IActiveIMMApp::UnregisterWordA Method

Removes a register string from the dictionary of the IME associated with the specified keyboard layout. ANSI implementation.

Syntax

HRESULT UnregisterWordA(
    HKL hKL,
    LPSTR szReading,
    DWORD dwStyle,
    LPSTR szUnregister
);

Parameters

hKL

[in] Handle to the keyboard layout.

szReading

[in] Address of a string value that contains a null-terminated string specifying the reading string associated with the string to remove.

dwStyle

[in] Unsigned long integer value that contains the style of the register string.

szUnregister

[in] Address of a string value that contains a null-terminated string specifying the register string to remove.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error code otherwise.

Remarks

This method maps to the ImmUnregisterWord function documented in the Microsoft® Platform Software Development Kit (SDK).
