IActiveIME2 Interface

This document describes technologies available in the Internet Explorer 5 Beta. While we encourage you to evaluate these features and to send us your feedback, please note that these features are subject to change.

This optional interface allows the Active Input Method Manager (IMM) to avoid a full shutdown of this Active Input Method Editor (IME) during a focus shift.

IActiveIME2 Methods

Sleep Instructs the Active Input Method Editor (IME) to shut down its user interface and refrain from locking any input method context handles.

Unsleep Instructs the Active Input Method Editor (IME) to restart its user interface and allows it to modify input context handles.
