The Washington State Nature Conservancy Project

In 1996, the Washington State chapter of The Nature Conservancy worked with Microsoft and with two Seattle-based firms (Tim Girvin Design and Metabridge) to design and build a state-of-the-art Web site (http://www.tnc-washington.org ) that would help drive the charter of their organization. (Before visiting the Web site, make sure to download Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or later .)

The Web site was designed to be a great place to learn about wildlife preserves in Washington State, and was completely designed, built, and activated with Microsoft Internet products and technologies.
