IHTMLStyle::get_zIndex Method

Retrieves the value of the cascading style sheet (CSS) zIndex property for the object.

Syntax

HRESULT get_zIndex(
    VARIANT *p 
);

Parameters

p
Address of a variable that receives the zIndex. The variable receives a positive value if the object is positioned above the text, and a negative value if it is below. See zIndex for details. The variable receives NULL if the property is not set.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.

IHTMLStyle::put_zIndex Method

Sets the value of the cascading style sheet (CSS) zIndex property for the object. The attribute determines whether the element is positioned above or below the text.

Syntax

HRESULT put_zIndex(
    VARIANT v 
);

Parameters

v
String or value specifying the zIndex. A positive value positions the object above the text, and a negative value positions it below. See zIndex for details. Set this parameter to NULL to remove the property.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.
