IHTMLStyle::get_whiteSpace Method

Retrieves the value of the cascading style sheet (CSS) whiteSpace property for the object.

Syntax

HRESULT get_whiteSpace(
    BSTR *p 
);

Parameters

p

Address of a variable that receives the value of the property, which can be one of these strings:

normal	Consecutive white-space characters are replaced with a single space.
nowrap	Linebreak characters are preserved, but consecutive spaces and tab characters are replaced with a single space.
pre	All white-space characters (including line breaks) are preserved.

The variable receives NULL if the property is not set.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.

Sets the cascading style sheet (CSS) whiteSpace property for the object. The property determines whether and how white-space characters in the object are displayed.

Syntax

HRESULT put_whiteSpace(
    BSTR v 
);

Parameters

v

String specifying the value of the property. Can be one of these strings:

normal	Consecutive white-space characters are replaced with a single space.
nowrap	Linebreak characters are preserved, but consecutive spaces and tab characters are replaced with a single space.
pre	All white-space characters (including line breaks) are preserved.

Set this parameter to NULL to remove the property.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.
