IHTMLStyle::get_verticalAlign Method


Retrieves the value of the cascading style sheet (CSS) vertical-align property for the object.

Syntax

HRESULT get_verticalAlign(
    VARIANT *p 
);

Parameters

p
Address of a variable that receives the value of the property, or NULL if the property is not set. Can be one of these strings:

baseline
middle
sub
super
text-top
text-bottom
top
bottom

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.

IHTMLStyle::put_verticalAlign Method

Sets the value of the cascading style sheet (CSS) vertical-align property for the object. The property determines the vertical positioning of the object.

Syntax

HRESULT put_verticalAlign(
    VARIANT v 
);

Parameters

v
String or value specifying the vertical alignment. Can be a percentage—either positive or negative—of the line height of the object, or one of the values below. These values are relative to the parent object:

baseline
middle
sub
super
text-top
text-bottom

These values are relative to the formatted line of which the object is a part:

top
bottom

See vertical-align for details. Set this parameter to NULL to remove the property.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.
