IHTMLStyle::get_padding Method


Retrieves the value of the cascading style sheet (CSS) padding property for the object in pixels.

Syntax

HRESULT get_padding( 
    BSTR *p 
);

Parameters

p
Address of a variable that receives the amount of top, right, bottom, and left padding, in that order. If this parameter specifies only one value, it applies to all sides. If it specifies two or three, the missing values are filled in based on the other values provided. For example, the missing right value may be filled in with the value for the left side. See padding for details. This parameter receives NULL if the property is not set.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.

Remarks

This method combines the functionality of the get_paddingTop, get_paddingRight, get_paddingBottom, and get_paddingLeft methods.

IHTMLStyle::put_padding Method

Sets the value of the cascading style sheet (CSS) padding property for the object in pixels. The property determines the amount of space between the border and the object's content.

Syntax

HRESULT put_padding(
    BSTR v 
);

Parameters

v
String that specifies the amount of top, right, bottom, and left padding, in that order. See padding for details. Set this parameter to NULL to remove the property.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.

Remarks

This method combines the functionality of the get_paddingTop, get_paddingRight, get_paddingBottom, and get_paddingLeft methods.
