The Microsoft HTML Help team has created a sample Web site that opens an instance of Microsoft Internet Explorer with the Internet Explorer toolbar buttons stripped away so the user navigates the site solely by using the HTML Help ActiveX control.
We used the new HTML Help ActiveX control Reference as the content for the sample Web site and include live-on-the-Web examples of every command that is available from the control. The topics are a subset of the documentation that will ship with the next version of HTML Help.
We also offer the same content as a downloadable compiled help (.chm) file to demonstrate additional .chm-based features, and the ability to single-source content for a compiled help file or uncompiled help on a Web site.
