VBA macros

The Visual Basic VBA5 and VBA6 macro security is provided.

Choose the application group and set some options.

You can select if run, do not run or ask user about permission for VBA macros.

For a higher level of protection, you can force the VB and JS sandbox to be used while the macro is running. Otherwise the original sandbox (e.g. MS Office) will be used.

Note! The information about switching an application to another sandbox can be seen in the activity window

Automatic macros, used in the background are invisible for a user. For example by creating or opening a new document some hidden macro can be run. These VBA macros are very dangerous and thus you can treat them separately.

Note! The MS Office 97 and MS Office 2000 are supported. Macro protection for the MS Office 95 and MS Access is not supported.
