Sanbox Objects

Sandbox Objects are the basic "building blocks" of sandbox profiles. Sandbox Object is the description of the elementary unit of the computer environment. Our Sandbox technology recognizes 8 types of sandbox objects:

  • Files
  • Registry
  • Services
  • Devices
  • OLE/COM
  • VBA macros
  • Process Spawning
  • Miscellaneous

Each sandbox object type has its specific purpose. Click on each Object type in Configuration Editor to get the list of available objects and to define the new objects within the category.

To edit existing object double click on selected object or click the icon "Edit".

To add the new object click on the icon for adding new objects "Add".

To delete existing object click on the icon "Delete".

When adding or editing sandbox objects you will see 'Object Details' screen. The screen has the same look for all types of sandbox objects. Within the dialog you define following values:

Object name - may be any combination of characters

Object description - short description

Platform - you can define object applicable to only selected operating system. Rule using such object will be applied only when target machine operating system would match this selection.

Object Definition - depends on the type of defined sandbox object:
