| To obtain a full
membership in the Kappa Beta chapter we ask that you be interviewed by a current voting
member. Although this can be a difficult first step for a prospective member to take, we
feel that it is a necessary one in order to ensure security for both you and other
attending members. The Corresponding Secretary will usually
conduct the interview. However, should the distance involved make this impractical, the
Corresponding Secretary will contact a voting member in your area who will conduct the
interview at your discretion. The interview process may seem daunting at
first, and rather intimidating. But the interviews are usually little more than a casual
conversation in which you and the interviewer each learn a little about the one another.
This helps assure us that you are who you say you are, and it may also alleviate your own
fears about the step you are taking, which can be a very stressful one, as well as
exciting. After the interview, you will be given the
dates and locations of our meetings. |
