BullGuard launches automatically when you start your computer and places an icon in the system tray. BullGuard is then active and is securing your PC. To access and explore BullGuard just double-click or right-click the icon.
The BullGuard icon
Just right-click to access BullGuard...
When right-clicking the icon you can select the option "Disable BullGuard". This disables the protection BullGuard provides.
If this option is selected, the icon will be gray in the system tray. If BullGuard is enabled the icon will be red.

The Scan acitivity bar
BullGuard places a Scan activity bar on your desktop. This shows you the constant anti-virus activity of BullGuard.
Every time you access a file (like when you open a document or start a program), you receive an e-mail, surf the internet or use a p2p application, you can see how BullGuard keeps you safe by scanning all data for viruses.
To hide the activity bar, uncheck the "Enable BullGuard activity bar" checkbox in the start-section of BullGuard (see picture at the top of this page).
BullGuard News
Every once in a while, BullGuard will pop up with news for you. This can be virus alerts, notifications about recommended product updates or simply hot tips on how to use your BullGuard for maximum security.
By checking the "Never show BullGuard news again" checkbox, you can disable this feature.
You can also control the enabling/disabling of BullGuard News from the start-section of BullGuard by checking/unchecking the "Enable BullGuard News" checkbox (see picture at the top of this page).
