Delays exist in almost every applet Demicron makes. The Frame Delay parameter is the time between two frames. Suppose that you are looking at your television. The image you see is replenished every 20 milliseconds, so the Frame "parameter" for a television image should be 20 ms. This will yield an update frequency at 50 Hz or 50 images per second. The normal frame delay used in our applets are about 100 ms or 10 images per second. There are other delays that are used in the applets, but these will vary depending on the type of applet and the effect it attempts to produce. |
