Default Options
These options are used to help customize Splash! to your liking, such things as setting the
default browser, and how you would like to see the HTML output.
Default Creator Name
This option is placed into the page code (HTML), and anybody wishing to check the
page details will see who it was created by.
Default Creator Email
This is placed into the code of all pages in the project and will provide people with your
contact E-mail address.
Default Copyright Info
As with the Creator Name and Creator E-mail, the Copyright Information will also
be included within the page HTML code.
Formatted Output
This option is used to help see the generated code easily, very good for beginners if they
wish to see how HTML works. ie: Which section of this code belongs to what?
Comments in output
Places comments into the HTML. This can be used to make notes,
so that onlookers can get an idea of how the HTML code works. Besides,
it's easy to forget what you were doing six months ago, and may help
as a reminder when you decide to edit your page.
Locked Output
Splash! has the feature that you can emulate a certain browser width, and create pages to
this size. However people don't always set their browsers to any particular size, so this option
is used to determine whether or not Splash! generates the code to be locked at the created size or not.
Layout Guides
To help center objects down on the page more easily, Splash! allows you to switch this option
on and off at your leisure.
Expert Mode
Expert mode will disable some user confirmation when performing
certain functions
Export Subdirectories
Splash! uses this option to help keep things in an orderly fashion. You can have all the images sorted into their
own directory, or you can have everything placed together in the one directory.
Object Borders
Splash! places borders around objects that are placed down in Splash!. You can have this option switched
off or on to accommodate your taste.
Help Active
When leaving the mouse pointer over a button (or some other action),
a small box will appear with a description of this function. This is called
balloon help and can be switched off if you wish.
Start Window
The Start Window is the dialogue that appears when first loading Splash! and allows quick access for
the 'Open Project', 'New Project' and 'Tutorial' selections. This can be disabled.
