[About The Guide]
PAGE LENGTH specifies the number of seconds to sound the
bell at the local console when a user pages you for a chat.
MAXIMUM PAGES allows you to limit the number of times a
user may page you during one session. You may also specify
paging "hours" using the PAGING START/END TIME option. If
either field is set to a non-zero value, users will only
be allowed to page you between these hours.
If ASK FOR PAGE REASON is enabled, RemoteAccess will display
a custom prompt (see the SYSTEM MESSAGES submenu) and ask
the user why he/she wants to chat. The response is displayed
on the status bar, and may be redisplayed later by pressing
F6. {+} Registered only.
If the page was unsuccessful, the user will be prompted
whether to leave a message addressed to the sysop. This
option is enabled by setting the AREA FOR MSGS TO SYSOP to
the desired message area number, or disabled with a value of
zero. {+} Registered only.
