Gameplay is pretty much self explanatory. The object of CarBall is to get the Ball into the opposing teams GoalArea to accumulate points for both your team and yourself. In CarBall there are 2 main ways points are scored..

- Knocking the Ball into the opposing teams GoalArea will award your team with 1 TeamPoint and award you 2 PersonalPoints. The actual points awarded may vary from map to map.

- Knocking the Ball into your own GoalArea is classified as an OwnGoal and will result in your losing 2 PersonalPoints and awarding the opposing team 1 TeamPoint. The actual points awarded may vary from map to map.

Some maps may also contain RandomGoalAreas...

- Knocking the Ball into a RandomGoalArea will award 1 TeamPoint to a random team, and 1 PersonalPoint to the player who scored the goal.

NOTES:
- The number of GoalAreas that may be present in a map is not limited to one per team.
- Reward/Penalty values may vary from map to map and GoalArea to GoalArea.

- If your buggy get's flipped over, press the "Use" key to flip it back onto it's wheels.

- As of Version1.2, CarBall has the features of the Stunt Mutator builtin (so there's no need to add the Stunt Mutator to your server anymore). Doing stunts add a whole other level to CarBall gameplay. Holding the Crouch button will cause a bar to start charging up for powerjumps. You can also simultaneously hold the Left/Right control keys will cause another bar to charge for spinning. When you release the Crouch key, the Buggy will jump and spin (depending on which bar's you charged). Whilst the Buggy is in the air you have aircontrol so can use directional keys to do even more crazy stunts. By using stunts you can get the Ball do do some really amazing tricks. Hell, you can even make your Buggy drive along walls! With a bit of practise you'll be owning your friends at your next LAN with your StuntMaster skills.

- Currently BotAI is not implemented. There are 2 issues for BotAI, 1) CarBall uses it's own custom inventory system and 2) the Ball is pushed and not carried as other gametypes. BotAI is something I am working on and hopefully will be implemented in CarBall V2.

Let's take a look at the ingame display..

1. Buggy. This is you (the player)
2. Ball. This is the Ball.
3. Radar. This let's you see which direction the Ball is in.
4. Inventory. Shows you the items you have in your inventory.

Pickups:
During the round you can pickup items that may be placed about the map. When you run over one of these items (with the exception of the RepairKit), it will be placed in your inventory as long as you have an empty slot. The inventory is drawn near the bottom right of the HUD.

- To cycle between inventory items, press "AltFire".
- To activate an item press "Fire".

Each item only has one charge (with the exception of the Horn).

RepairKit.
This item is used as soon as your Buggy touches it. As you might guess, it repairs your Buggy if it has been damaged by 50 hitpoints.
Horn.
All Buggys are equiped with the horn. It has unlimited charges, and as you would expect plays a horn when activated.
NitroBoost.
Activating this item increases your Buggys speed dramatically for a very short period of time. The increased speed comes with the penalty of less control.
GooPile.
When activated, this pickup drops a pile of goo behind your Buggy which damages other Buggys.

PocketRocket.
This powerful rocket will destroy any Buggy that it comes in contact with. It is also useful for getting the ball moving.
Invisibility.
For a short time (roughly 10 seconds) you will become almost invisible.
