Setting the Properties of Input Signals

In the Settings menu of the Monitor window, select Hardware Settings...
The Hardware Settings dialog appears.


To set the video standard

Select System settings, click Video standard, and select one of the following from the list.

Note

Always exit EDIUS and restart the computer whenever you change the Video Standard setting.

To set the amount of real-time playback memory

Select System Settings, click RT Playback Buffer, and select one of the following values from the list.
32frames (default setting), 64frames, 96frames, 128frames, 160frames

To set video parameters

Select Back Panel Input, select S-video or Composite, and set the video parameters for the selected item.



Set values by using the slider or by entering values directly.
You can set values in the range from 0 to 255 for Luminance, Contrast, Hue, and Saturation. You can set values in the range from 0 to 15 for Sharpness. You can also use the Vector Scope and Waveform to adjust video parameters.
