Ikon Media is dedicated to exploring and expanding creative content and marketing opportunities within new media. Our first Internet venture began in September 1994 with FiX magazine, the UK's first on-line interactive entertainment title. Having built a strong cult following, and achieved an average of 30,000 readers per issue, FiX is recognised as a pioneering and stylish force breaking through the barriers of conventional publishing.
We are the creators of the Liptonice Cube Awards, a showcase Web site for the UK's first annual event rewarding the efforts of talented Web site creators. Liptonice's Web presence forms an integral part of Unilever's nationwide advertising campaign for the brand.Ikon Media offers a broad range of services. We are committed to cross-media marketing and believe in helping fellow adventurers in new media to develop effective strategies and quality content for the World Wide Web. Currently, our services focus on three areas - publishing, advertising/marketing and public relations.Our clients range from small businesses to major corporations. We encourage and advise clients on how to get the best from the World Wide Web, working with the Audit Bureau of Circulations to provide vital demographic information.
PUBLISHING: Our organisation comprises a staff of journalists and publishers with magazine, newspaper, television and radio experience. We have the skills to conceive, develop, implement and promote publishing projects specifically designed to offer consumers the ultimate interactive experience in new media. Integrating still and moving images with audio and text, Ikon Media works toward exploiting available technologies for full-on global entertainment encounters.

ADVERTISING & MARKETING: Over 30 million people spend an average of six hours per week on-line. PUBLIC RELATIONS: There is explosive interest in the Internet from all other media. From Women's Hour to the 9'O Clock News, the Internet has provoked more coverage than a small war. Ikon Media offers a professional PR service to promote cross-sectional interest in, and increase traffic to Web sites. Headed by Marian Buckley, our PR team - the UK's first Internet PR agency - offers a value added service which was the force behind London's Café Cyberia campaign, and the recent launch of Global Café Ltd in Geneva.
